Insomnia

This layout features some character from D Gray Man (which was created by Katsura Hoshino). It was created with the help of Adobe Photoshop CS2, with a tables code, generated in Adobe Imageready (which was then later edited in Notepad). It is best viewed in a screen resolution of 1024*768 and up, but can be viewed in 800*600 screens as well. This layout is by Harper.

This manga scan is one popularly used and for some reason, I just couldn't find it until Ty showed me this graphic with a D Gray Man character. I went backwards through his credits and finally found a D Gray Man image gallery with this manga scan. From there, I extracted and colored the black lines. Yes, that's right, I did all the shading/coloring on the image, besides the lineart. It wasn't as difficult as I was expecting it to be and it came out great. After several attempts of trying to make a layout with this image, I finally got this layout down. I really like this layout, since it was my first time using an image colored by myself. I'm extremely proud of it, and I hope to do something similar to this layout again.


The Layout ABCs

The Layout ABCs was a fun idea that was brought into question for the sole purpose of pressuring us enough to make a list of 26 layouts. In the layout ABCs, we shall make a layout where the title begins with some sort of letter of the Alphabet. Here is the list of complete ABC layouts so far.

Installation

Here's an extremely brief guide to installing a layout. If you have any further questions, feel free to head over to Anxiety's contact page and ask them.
  • First, download the file from the main layout page.
  • Upload the zip file to your server and unzip the files.
  • Next, open the html page and edit the designated areas, like the navigation, content area, and introduction box (if there is one). And you're all done.
