Zilch

This layout features a relatively unknown character (to me) from Houden Eizo (which belongs to the original artist). It was created with the help of Adobe Photoshop CS2, with a tables code, generated in Adobe Imageready (which was then later edited in Notepad). It is best viewed in a screen resolution of 1024*768 and up, but can be viewed in 800*600 screens as well. This layout was made by me, Harper.

This layout was made after I had attempted to make a new layout for Anxiety. The layout that I had made prior to this layout caused me to have a major headache because I was actually thinking. When I grew frustrated with that, I made this layout to get rid of some stress that the previous layout caused me. I showed it to TY and he liked it, and thus proclaimed that I cannot think and design at the same time. (Yes, I do suck at multi-tasking. I know.) You do learn alot about yourself through designing. -cough-
FYI: Zilch basically means zero (as in the #). However, it might be spelled Zilche, or some other wacky way.

For this layout, I used splatter brushes from In the Orchard, a flower from Gender, and these swirly lines (which you probably can't see) from Moargh. The fonts that were used in the actual layout design was Century Gothic (computer default) and English Gothic, 17th c (from DAFont). I googled for the image, so I can't exactly remember specifically where I got it (which I am sorry to say).

The Layout ABCs

The Layout ABCs was a fun idea that was brought into question for the sole purpose of pressuring us enough to make a list of 26 layouts. In the layout ABCs, we shall make a layout where the title begins with some sort of letter of the Alphabet. Here is the list of complete ABC layouts so far.

Installation

Here's an extremely brief guide to installing a layout. If you have any further questions, feel free to head over to Anxiety's contact page and ask them.
  • First, download the file from the main layout page.
  • Upload the zip file to your server and unzip the files.
  • Next, open the html page and edit the designated areas, like the navigation, content area, and introduction box (if there is one). And you're all done.
